Use of Firearms
You
agree that any products purchased from Mount Pleasant Arms will be used for
legal purposes only. You confirm that you are aware of federal, state, and
local laws and regulations concerning the products that you are purchasing.
Further, you confirm that by purchasing and possession of those items you abide
by all those laws and regulations.
In
regards to modifications and new builds, you agree that all such activities
will be done with legal frameworks as established by the federal, state, and
local authorities. You agree that you will abide by all NFA laws and BATFE
regulations. Please check with your local authorities before doing any
modifications or new builds. Special federal and local licensing and
permissions may be required for some modifications and builds.
Liability Mount
Pleasant Arms does not assume any liability for any harm caused by improper use
of products purchased from Mount Pleasant Arms. You agree not to hold Mount Pleasant Arms liable for any
such harms caused by improper use, installation, or maintenance performed by
you or by any other entity. Mount Pleasant Arms recommends consulting with a
professional gunsmith before performing any installation or maintenance.
By
placing an order through Mount Pleasant Arms, you confirm that you are of legal
age to purchase firearms. You further confirm that you are legally allowed to
purchase firearms; that you have not committed any act or are not under any
condition whereas purchasing and possession of firearms by you may be deemed
illegal. By placing an order through Mount Pleasant Arms, you confirm that you
are not entering in any kind of activity that may be viewed as an illegal by
any federal, state, or local laws and regulations; and that you are not committing
any act of felony (Straw Sale, etc.).
Mount Pleasant Arms does not take any
responsibility or liability for any complications arising from the federally
mandated checks.
You
agree not to hold Mount Pleasant Arms liable for any consequences resulted from
ignorance of the law or deliberate disregard for it. Mount Pleasant Arms will take all reasonable measures to
inform the buyer about legalities concerning each product and not sell and/or
ship items where prohibited. However, you agree that the final burden falls
with the buyer.
Improper Use
The improper use, handling or maintenance of a firearm can result in
serious injury or death. All
firearm purchasers are to treat their firearms as if they are loaded at all
times. Firearms purchasers are
to read and comply with the owner's manual upon receipt of the firearm. The
firearm is only to be used in accordance with the owners manual and in
compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding the carrying,
handling, and operation of firearms. Mount Pleasant Arms is not liable for the misuse,
improper handling or maintenance, damages, injuries, or illegal conduct as a
result from any firearm sale.
Shipping to FFL Dealers
Unless an appointment is made to pick-up your firearm in person and
complete the background check paperwork, firearms will only be shipped to an
FFL (Federal Firearms License) and that FFL must be on file with Mount Pleasant
Arms as soon as possible. The shipping address for your firearm order must be
that of the FFL handling your transfer.
Special Order Cancellations
If
you decide to cancel your special order for any reason, there is a 15%
fee (based on total price).
To avoid this fee, you can purchase another product of equal or greater value.
All Sales Are Final
All sales are final and returns will not be accepted unless you fail your background check and are unable to purchase a firearm.
Failed Background Check
If
you fail your background check, you will be refunded the total cost of your purchase less $50. If the firearm was shipped to an FFL dealer and you failed the background check, it is your responsibility to have that dealer ship the product back to me in an unused condition and in the original packaging. You will be refunded the cost of the firearm less the cost of shipping and handling. If a shipped firearm is returned used, missing parts or the original packaging, a refund will not be issued.
Return Credits
If
you purchased your firearm with a credit card, funds will be credited
back to the same card. Cash or check sales will receive a refund on a
company check. Checks can be picked-up or sent via USPS.
Warrantee Information
Please
contact the manufacturer of your firearm for warrantee information and
service. I do not provide extended warrantees or any warrantee
service.
Guns purchased through my Davidson's account come with a lifetime warrantee.
Credit Cards
I accept the following credit cards: Visa,
MasterCard, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit
card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address
and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank
has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing
your order.

Internet that are owned and operated by third parties. You acknowledge that
we're not responsible for the operation of or content located on or through any

Order Acceptance Policy
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of
order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it
constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Mount Pleasant Arms reserves the right at any time after
receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to
supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
Taxes
Our Store shall automatically charge and withhold
the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the
same state. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for
all sales taxes or other taxes.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect
price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from
our suppliers, Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders
placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our Store shall have the
right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been
confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been
charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Our Store shall
immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the
incorrect price.
